Instead of extending the Bush Tax Cuts for those over $250,000, why not let their rate go back to the Clinton?

rate and give the other 98% of the population the benefit of the tax reduction?

That way the money would be spent at businesses, boosting the economy and thereby creating jobs.

It would be called Trickle Up Economics.

theres no such thing as "trickle up economics" despite what left wing stupid phd's will tell you.

if we have a 100$ tax break to give and we could give it to one person or a 100 people who do you think is more likely to spend? the answer is the one person. He has the whole 100 so he will spend graciously while those with a dollar will save. putting the money in the hands of the rich is the quickest way to increase employment and stimulate the economy.

The GOP doesnt understand economics. trickle down economies do not work. It goes against economics.

You must create demand before you create supply because no business is going to create supply( and thus jobs) if current supply isnt moving. To create demand you give the low and middle class more money. This increases demand which causes an increase in jobs to increase supply. Everyone one works everyone is happy.

On the trickle down approach the rich just take the money and PROFIT ....with no work involved.

It does almost nothing for the economy to trickle down.

Well - the tax cuts have created so many jobs over the last 10 years, why toy around with our unbelievably low unemployment rate?

A great idea. The millionaires don't pay their share of taxes, and if your plan makes them cough up .that would be terrific

Hope this helps
