Democrats, should we go back to the tax rates we had under Woodrow Wilson?


I keep seeing questions saying things to the effect of "Eisenhower good, why Republicans no like that tax rate?" Well, ok, why not go back to the tax rate we had under Democrat favorite Woodrow Wilson? 0%. The economy was roaring.

CPAinLA 		woodrow was one of the worst presidents ever, until now. we have him to thank for segregation among other things. read some history before you ask such questions.

"Woodrow Wilson - Have you ever heard the saying, "There are two sure things in life: death and taxes"? Woodrow Wilson may not be responsible for death, but at least in America, he is partially responsible for the creation of the federal income tax. Woodrow Wilson is a case in point that not all devils have horns, in fact may wear suits and attend church (he was a lifelong Presbyterian) . For about 130 years America flourished without having any federal income text. Rather than oppose the Revenue Act of 1913, he signed it into law. Since then taxes have increased exponentially along with the size of the federal government.

One of the grant ironies is that Wilson often spoke positively about freedom. He is quoted as saying:
"Liberty has never come from the government. Liberty has always come form the subjects of government. The history of liberty is the history of resistance. The history of liberty is a history of the limitation of government power, not the increase of it." Yet this figure key was responsible for the creation of one of the most infernal systems to ever plague Americans - federal income tax."

The Democrats only want to return to Clinton tax rates from 1999 about 3.8% more.
