what happens if gaap and level limit area b is on the field?


What happens if my opponent has a face-up Gaap the divine soldier and I have a face-up level limit area- b?
What if i activated my level limit first? would mine apply? or does it change to my opponent's?

mikebadj 		I think Level Limit-Area B's effect WILL work because read it's effect.....


All face-up Level 4 or higher monsters on the field are changed to Defense Position and remain in Defense Position as long as this card is ACTIVE.

DorthyP 		whenever a situation like that comes up, the last continuous effect is applied

in this particular situation, when gaap is summoned, all monsters are changed to attack position and stay that way.
any monster played thereafter is affected by the level limit if it can apply since gaap's effect activates only for the current monsters when it's summoned

crussmba 		The one that activated first would apply the whole time. This is because it states that the battle positions of the monsters cannot be changed. meaning if you activated level limit area b it would have no effect (if Gaap the divine soldier was still on the field)
