should income statement include start up cost?


When projecting p&l with income statement, including start up cost may show negative before payback . and no tax is needed. is that appropiate to do so?

TaxesandScotch 		Yes. A start up cost is the initial investment & expenses that are necessary to run the business & needs to be included in the projected P&L (normally in the first year).
