Is there an easy way to describe LIFO & FIFO methods?


The more I read it out of the textbook, the more confused I become. Can someone explain the process of LIFO & FIFO so that it makes sense?

vinwubulldogs 		LIFO is Last in First out.

Imagine a pack of pringles. They are all put in, but the last pringle to go into the tube is eaten first.

FIFO is first in first out

This is like you are waiting in line at the cinema. If you are the first in the queue, you will be served first.

These ideas happen with data as well. A queue is FIFO and a stack is LIFO.
