How do i find the equivalent units for materials using the FIFO method.?


Beg:work in process inventory=12,000 units, 50%complete
Units started into production=44,000 units
Units completed and transferred out=48,000 units
Ending work in process inventory= 8,000 units, 100% complete

..all materials are added at the beginning of the mixing process. thanks.

MelonsO 		To get EU produced, add units completed and moved to Finished Goods plus EU in Ending Inventory (here 8,000) for total of 56,000.
