How can i really read a balance sheet. Does anyone have a website that explains the things on it.

brandonm 		Your assets minus your liabilities equal your owner's equity. Cash is very important on a balance sheet when looking at a company's strength. Cash is king. If you don't have a good cash flow, you can't pay your bills.

mike11 		It depends on the company. Most 10Qs are pretty easy to read. For financial companies, such as Citi and Bank of America, however, not even PHD's can figure those monsters out.. Meaning, when a company has interest to hide something, then chances are you will not find it..
